Grammar note
Before a masculine singular noun, bueno drops its -o: un buen día, but un día bueno. Buena never changes: una buena idea.
How to remember it
Buenos días, good morning, is often the first Spanish people hear. Bueno and the English bonus both come from the Latin bonus, good.
