What it does, and what it costs
Verbamor takes a recorded lesson and gives you back the cards: the word, a picture, an example sentence from the moment it came up, and the sentence spoken twice. That clerical work is the job it takes off you.
The handbook puts the manual version of that job at 1.5 to 2 hours a week. I wrote that number off my own evenings, and I'd rather you checked it than took it from me. Run the debrief by hand for a few weeks with a timer on it. If your number is small, you don't need this and I'd say so.
What it actually does
One 60-minute lesson, mined for the words and the multi-word phrases worth keeping, with the filler thrown out. Each one gets a picture made fresh for that word in that language, an example sentence taken from where it appeared, and two recordings of that sentence: once whole, and once with the word replaced by a tone so the card makes you say it before it tells you.
Then each card gets its own review schedule that moves every time you answer it. That timing is the part that decides whether 10 minutes beats somebody else's hour.
It's a paid iPhone app, billed through Apple, so you cancel it the way you cancel anything else on your phone. Support has the exact steps.
Where the free handbook fits
The handbook teaches the whole method and it works without paying me anything. It's yours, and I'm not taking it back. Chapter 6 is a full setup guide for Anki, which is free and competes with what I sell.

Common questions
Is there a free tier? No. The handbook is the free thing, and it's a real one at 44 pages in 4 languages.
What does it cost? There's a monthly plan and a cheaper annual one, and the annual starts with a free trial. The exact figures are on the App Store listing, which is the only place they can be right, since Apple sets the regional prices.
Do I need a tutor? Effectively yes. It works from your recorded lessons, so with no lessons to record it has nothing to build cards from.
Which languages? Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. The app's own interface is in English.
