The 650 coverage quiz
A small set of high-frequency words does most of the talking in any language. 20 questions, self-graded on honest recall, and you'll know how much of that core you actually own.
The rules, because they matter: you'll see the English, you say the word in your language out loud, before revealing, then grade yourself. Recognition ("oh right, that one") counts as a miss. That's harsher than app quizzes grade you, and it's the honest standard, because conversation only accepts production.

Your missed words
These are the quiz words you couldn't produce, with their rank in the frequency list. Low ranks are urgent: they come up constantly.

Reading your score
- Under ~350: the frequency core is still your fastest lever. Ten words a day from the 650 list (pick your language) is 3 to 5 weeks of work that upgrades every conversation you'll ever have.
- 350 to 550: mixed regime. Keep a trickle of list words, and start harvesting your own lessons, because your remaining gaps are increasingly personal. The debrief protocol is the harvesting tool.
- Over ~550: generic lists are done paying you. Your gaps now live in your own speech: the words you reach for and miss. That's exactly what a recorded lesson or a 2-minute self-recording exposes, and it's the regime the app was built for.
One honest caveat: 20 samples estimate coverage with real noise (roughly ±80 words at this sample size). Retake it in a month and watch the direction, not the digit.
The words you missed can be cards by tonight.
Verbamor seeds all 650 with images and native audio the moment your trial starts, and tracks every one of them to mastery.
